Legal and accountancy

Your time is billable. Admin should not be.

Price transparency rules, client identity checks, anti-money laundering records and Making Tax Digital all land on the same small teams. We build websites, client onboarding, portals and AI drafting tools that take the admin off fee earners and keep the audit trail tidy.

What the rules ask of you

The rules shaping your software.

Free 30-minute call

Not sure where to start? Talk it through with an engineer.

Thirty minutes with a senior engineer, free and with no obligation. Bring the problem, not a brief.

What we will not claim.

We do not make a website SRA compliant, we are not a certified identity provider, and we are not an HMRC-recognised Making Tax Digital software supplier. Your compliance officer and MLRO stay responsible. We build what the rules ask for and keep the records that show it.

Legal and accountancy questions

Frequently asked questions.

Can you build a website that meets the SRA transparency rules?

Yes. We build the price and service pages the rules require for the services you offer, embed the SRA digital badge from the SRA's own code, and add a clear complaints page. Your compliance officer should sign off the content, because the duty stays with the firm.

Can you automate client onboarding and ID checks?

Yes. We build onboarding flows that use certified digital identity services, run sanctions and politically exposed person checks, and store the evidence with an audit trail. Your MLRO decides the risk policy, and the system records each decision against it.

Is it safe to use AI with client documents?

It can be, with the right set-up: AI providers whose terms rule out training on your data, access limited by matter, UK or EU processing, and a person reviewing anything that goes to a client. Both the SRA and the ICAEW expect you to understand the tools you use.

Can you help practices with Making Tax Digital?

We can build the integrations, client portals and data flows around Making Tax Digital through HMRC's APIs. Whether a product counts as recognised MTD software is HMRC's decision, so we check its software list rather than claiming it.
