Reviews Policy
Effective date: 12 October 2026
Reviews only help anyone if they are genuine. Since 6 April 2025, the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 has banned fake reviews, concealed incentivised reviews and the publishing of reviews in a misleading way, and the Competition and Markets Authority can fine businesses directly. The CAP Code also requires testimonials in marketing to be genuine. This policy explains how we handle reviews.
What we never do
- We never write, commission or buy reviews, or ask anyone to post a review about a business they have not used.
- We never offer money, discounts or other rewards for reviews without saying so clearly next to the review.
- We never edit a review in a way that changes its meaning.
- We never post reviews of other businesses to harm them.
How we collect reviews
We ask clients for feedback at the end of a project or after a period of support. Clients can say whatever they think, and they are free to say nothing at all. When we ask, we ask every client in the same way, not only the ones we expect to be happy.
How we publish testimonials
The testimonials on this website are comments real clients gave us about real projects, published with their permission and attributed to them. They are a selection of what clients have said, not a complete record of every review we have received. Where a client also gave us a star rating, we may show that client's own rating beside their words. We never show a rating a client did not give, and we never present testimonials as an average. Where a client asked us to shorten a testimonial, we have kept its meaning.
Reviews on other platforms
Reviews posted about us on independent platforms are written by those platforms' users and controlled by the platforms. We do not ask for honest negative reviews to be removed, and where we reply, we reply openly.
If you think a review is not genuine
If you believe a review or testimonial on this site is not genuine, or is misleading, please tell us through the contact form or call us on 07723 431000. We will look into it, tell you what we found and remove or correct anything that breaks this policy.
