Custom generative AI that knows your business, not just the internet.
A generic chatbot answers like the internet. A useful one answers like your best employee. We build generative AI systems grounded in your documents, your tone and your rules, so the output is something you would put your name to.

What is custom generative AI?
Custom generative AI is software built on large language models that produces text, answers and content specific to one business. It includes customer-facing chat assistants, internal copilots, content generation systems and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) tools that answer from a company's own documents.
Trust is the hurdle. Fewer than half of people in the UK say they are willing to trust AI (KPMG and the University of Melbourne, April 2025). So we build systems that show their working: every answer cites its source, stays inside its brief and hands over to a person when it is unsure.
What we build.

Why grounded beats generic.
An AI that makes things up is a business risk, not a quirk. Our builds cite their sources, log every answer, stay inside their scope and are tested against known answers before launch. When the answer is not in your data, the system says so and routes the question to a person.
Security and privacy first.
We choose AI providers whose contract terms rule out training on your data, design for UK or EU data residency where you need it, and apply role-based access. Everything is documented for your records: the data flows, a data protection impact assessment where one is needed, and the transfer safeguards for any US-based AI provider. If you sell into the EU, we build with the EU AI Act in mind as well.
Often built alongside it.
Frequently asked questions.
How do you stop the AI making things up?
By grounding every answer in your verified data, requiring citations, limiting the scope, testing against sets of known answers and routing uncertainty to a person. Accuracy is measured before launch and monitored after it, never assumed. If the answer is not in your data, the assistant says so.
Which AI models do you use?
The right one for each job: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini and leading open-source models, chosen on accuracy, cost, speed and where your data may be processed. You are never locked into one provider, and switching later is designed in from the start.
Where is our data processed?
Where you decide. We can host in UK or EU regions, choose AI providers with no-training terms and keep sensitive data out of prompts altogether. Any transfer outside the UK is covered by a lawful safeguard and written into the Data Processing Addendum before work starts.
How long does a generative AI project take?
A grounded assistant built on existing documentation usually reaches a working pilot in 4 to 6 weeks. Testing, hardening and roll-out follow, with the full timeline set out in your fixed quote. You see it working every week, not just at the end.
How is a generative AI project priced?
With a fixed, itemised quote in pounds after a short discovery, covering the pilot, testing and roll-out. Running costs such as AI model usage and hosting are estimated up front and shown separately, so there are no surprises on the monthly bill.
